Carnitas Salvadoran Panini

Yields 10 sandwiches
2 5count Del Real Foods® Pupusas(10 total)
1 16oz Del Real Foods® Carnitas, warm (8oz needed)
¾ cup Queso Fresco
1 medium Red Onion, sliced
1 Del Real Foods® Salsa Molcajete Verde (5oz needed)
2 small Avocados, peeled and sliced
Fill a large skillet with oil, about 1/2” deep. Place pupusas in skillet and heat each side until golden, about 1 minute per side.
Remove pupusas from skillet. Split in half lenghtwise. Place 1 ½ ounces Carnitas on bottom of pupusa. Top with 2 Tablespoons Queso Fresco, 3 slices Onion, 1 heaping Tablespoon Salsa and 3-5 slices Avocado. Top with pupusa half. Cut into ¼’s. Secure with a toothpick. Serve immediately.
